Well I had no idea how MIA I had been on this here blog…..wow! I need to get better and fast! So I will do my best to catch everyone up on all that has had been pre-occuppied!
First up is the decorating contest we had here at work last week! Our department did a Winter Wonderland theme, I cut out figure skaters and ice skates and the words Winter Wonderland using my Cricut!

I helped a friend who is a hairdresser decorate her new salon – used the Cricut and Make the Cut!
my son won a classroom spelling bee! and he is in first grade and reading on a fourth grade reading level….ok bragging over – you may now continue with your regularly scheduled programs!
I love this photo of my little man’s toys – these were “THE” toys for what seemed like forever when he was 2 and 3 years old. Nothing was better than Buzz and Woody!

Below are pictures of an end of the year project that i chose to do a few weeks ago and now i am going to go through my pictures and finish it but before i do that i wanted to share it with everyone!
I stumbled upon this very wonderful blog www.thepioneerwoman.com almost a year ago, and my world was changed forever. This blog is such a breath of fresh air, as a country girl at heart i can relate to a lot of the farming life she wasn’t accustom to but the cooking and photography part of her website is by far my favorite.
Well this fabulous lady put out a cookbook – that ROCKS – i don’t know about anyone else but i need step by step photos and Ree does that in this awesome cookbook!!! I went to her book signing on Tuesday night in Nashville and stood in line for 3 hours to have her sign my book – something i NEVER thought in a million years that i would do – i got to meet her and speak to her for a brief moment and she is super uber sweet!!!

I am telling you guys if you have a cook in the family or someone learning to cook or anyone who enjoys cooking this book is for you! This book should be on everyone’s wish list!!! LOL of course i am a little biast!!!

The paper is DCWV School stack – love it! and i love the the glitter chipboard alphabet and metal alphabets!
Here is a layout i did a couple of months ago about “little man’s” first major injury!! he fell and hit his mouth on the coffee table and pushed both his front teeth out of place – i shudder at the thought it was soo gross looking and it looked sooooo painful!

Here is my little man’s 2nd birthday party layout – loved this cake we made – my hubby decorated it – he is so good (gay but good- LOL) i love him though!!! we didn’t realize that the icing was going to color everyone’s mouth blue though, that was an added and hilarious bonus!!
I love this pic of me and little man at the pumpkin patch – this was on the school field trip – the layout is super simple however the picture i just love! I photo shopped it and turned it to black and white then turned just the center of the photo back to color – the picture is awesome i wish you could see it in person! you can click the picture to see it bigger!
